U:Move – Our journey
Being born and bred in Belfast, I have a strong connection to the place I call home. Watching it grow over recent years has been tremendously exciting, as we become a truly diverse city. Our region is changing, with many exciting developments planned throughout Belfast in the coming years, none least being the opening of Ulster University’s stunning Belfast Campus.
As we move towards creating a more sustainable NI, I wanted to be a part of creating real solutions to support urban mobility in and around Belfast. Having found the ideal location in the heart of the city, by partnering with Ulster University, we found a truly world-class E-Bike company to work with us in Ride Electric. Our partnership enables us to provide unrivalled quality in the E-Bikes solutions and services we provide through direct sales, rentals and complete business solutions. Alongside world-class customer service, it is our hope to create a community of U:Movers who embrace the transition to E-Bikes and play their role in making Belfast an even better city.

We are very passionate In our belief that Belfast is primed to adopt E-Bikes as a reliable and efficient mode of transport. We want to get people out of cars and enjoy the quality of life benefits that E-Bikes bring, improving the physical and mental health of our users. As we say to our customers, it really is one of the few times that you get to make an investment in yourself and your health. The power of trying an E-Bike through an Experience Ride is unrivalled, as I personally experienced with the amazingly enigmatic Craig (pictured right) of the Ride Electric store in Newcastle Upon Tyne at their Tynemouth location. As Craig says they are E-Bike smiles! These experience rides, take customers who may be interested out around the stunning sites of Belfast for approx. 40 minutes to give a first-hand understanding of the positive change they will experience when moving from traditional pedal bikes to a pedal-assisted solution.
