Cycle to Work Administration Fees
When a Cycle to Work purchase is processed through a third-party scheme provider, the provider may deduct a commission, handling fee or administration charge from the amount paid to U:Move.
As a small independent retailer operating on strict product margins, U:Move is not able to absorb these third-party charges. Where permitted by the relevant Cycle to Work scheme and the customer’s employer, U:Move will therefore apply a separate administration fee equivalent to the third-party charge incurred by U:Move.
For example, if a Cycle to Work voucher or Letter of Collection has a value of £2,000 and the scheme provider applies a 5% charge to U:Move, a separate U:Move administration fee of £100 would be payable by the customer.
Any applicable administration fee will be confirmed with you before the transaction is completed or your Cycle to Work voucher/Letter of Collection is redeemed.
Scheme rules vary between providers and employers. If the relevant scheme does not permit a separate administration fee, U:Move will not attempt to circumvent those rules and may be unable to accept the voucher or Letter of Collection.
We therefore strongly recommend contacting U:Move before applying for your Cycle to Work certificate, voucher or Letter of Collection, so that we can confirm any applicable charges.
